The Ministry of Health is the body of the Administration of the Andalusian Govermenment responsable for health policies in our autonomous community, as well as the upper management of dependent agencies, including the Andalusian Health Service of Andalusia.
The defense, consolidation and maintenance of the pillars of the Welfare State in its health aspect, is the axis on which the actions of the Ministry of Health of Andalusia pivot, with special incidence in the following áreas:
- The guarantee of the rights, benefits, resources and services in health
- The progress in efficiency and sustainability as an essential perspective of public health services.
- The promotion of profesional development of all persons working directly or indirectly linked to the srevices provided by the Regional Ministry.
- The promotion of research in order to consolidate an innovative model and a different productive model,
- And the enhancement of transparency, the information access and citizen participation in a context of open goverment.
